Joelle
Zarzana, O.D.
 Dr. Joelle Zarzana grew up in the Sonoma Valley
and attended high school at Justin Siena in Napa, where she was an
honors student and active in sports and theater. She received her bachelors degree in Biological Sciences
with an emphasis in Neurobiology, while pre-med, from the
University of California, Davis. She then attended U.C. Berkeley, where she received a
second bachelors degree in Vision Science, while earning her
doctorate in optometry in 2004.
Dr. Zarzana performed vision screening on
students (K-12) for Alameda and Contra Costa County. She was a managing optometrist for EyExam, where she was
nominated for “2005 Managing Doctor of the Year.” Dr. Zarzana was active in local volunteer work, partnering
with charitable organizations to provide free eye exams to those
in need.
She is a third generation Italian-American, with
extensive family throughout Italy. As a result, she loves traveling and is currently learning
Italian. She also
enjoys musical theater, health and fitness.

Michelle Kerr, O.D.
 Michelle Kerr, O.D. is a 1991 graduate of the University of California,
Berkeley School of Optometry where she received numerous patient care awards
for Contact Lenses and Patient Management. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa
from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor's degree in Biology
in 1987. She also acquired an additional Bachelors of Vision Science from
UC Berkeley in 1989.
Dr. Kerr specializes in comprehensive family vision care,
including specialty contact lenses, bifocal contact lenses, pediatric
screening and evaluation, and Lasik consultation.
Dr. Kerr lives in Benicia with her husband and two teenage
children. She continues her childhood love of competitive swimming as an
avid triathlete and Master's swimmer. She and her family also enjoy
camping, biking and sailing in the San Francisco Bay.
